Three Fund Selectors discuss how US inflation can affect Europe in the future

This Wednesday, 30th of June here at RankiaPro Europe we hosted our fourth Conference Call of 2021. We had a great time listening to the insights and strategies of our three panelists while discussing the market and the effects that the US inflation might have in the European Economy in the future.

To discuss on the topic How US inflation can affect Europe in the future we had the honour of hosting three investment professionals whose expertise gave us an overview of the funds and the current state of the investment market, what they are looking for their strategies at the moment under the shadow of inflation, and what are their prospections for the future.

Flavio Incoronato, Portfolio Manager, Banca del Sempione, Simplon Bank, Banque du Simplon, Alexis Bienvenue, Portfolio Manager La Financiere de L’echiquier and Peter Lenart, CFA, CAIA Head of Investment Research at A&J Wealth Management touched on a broad range of factors that are likely to shape the investment landscape during these times of a coming inflation.

Flavio Incoronato, Portfolio Manager, Banca del Sempione, Simplon Bank, Banque du Simplon. After the bachelor in Economics and Finance, Flavio obtained a Master in Finance at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan. Meanwhile, he started his working career in Kairos Investment Management Ltd in London, joining afterwards a family office in Lugano, in the investment management area. He joined Banca del Sempione investment team in August 2016 and from October 2017 until March 2020 he was co-manager of the sub-fund Base Investments Sicav - Multi Asset Capital Appreciation Fund of Fund. Since April 2020 is lead PM. He has passed all three levels of the CFA program.

Alexis Bienvenue, Portfolio Manager La Financiere de L’echiquier. Alexis is a portfolio manager and fund selector at La Financière de l’Echiquier. Before joining the company in 2018, he had been managing portfolios since 2006 within the Primonial Group.

Alexis is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. He holds a PhD from the University of Paris-1, with a specialization in philosophy of probability.

Peter Lenart, CFA, CAIA Head of Investment Research at A&J Wealth Management. Peter joined A&J in 2021 to lead all investment research and is responsible for A&J’s investment process and the performance of our client's portfolios. Prior to joining A&J, Peter worked at Sandaire, London based multi-family office, and had responsibility for selection and monitoring all active third-party investments. In addition to his fund selection responsibilities, Peter provided research input for a number of asset classes for the Investment Committee. Previously, Peter worked as an investment analyst for The Capital Partnership. Peter studied at the University of Economics in Bratislava graduating in 2001 with a Master's degree in Financial Management. During his studies, Peter worked for ProPartners, a stockbroker based in Bratislava, before moving to London. Peter is a CFA and a CAIA charterholder.
