Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager, has appointed Gilles Drukier as head of insurance solutions for the EMEA region effective 3 August 2020. Reporting to global head of insurance solutions, Matt Malloy, and head of EMEA and Latin America, Dik van Lomwel, Gilles will lead efforts to deepen client relationships across the EMEA insurance client segment working closely with the existing regional client coverage teams.
With over 20 years of financial services experience, Drukier joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he was managing director for its fixed income insurance and pensions solutions group. Prior to this, he worked for JP Morgan’s investment banking arm across a number of teams including its insurance strategic advisory group. Drukier’s previous experience also includes derivatives sales roles at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs.
Neuberger Berman’s Global Insurance Solutions Group oversees approximately $50 billion of insurance assets under management with over 200 clients across 30 countries, and is a leader in providing customised public and private market solutions. The business encompasses dedicated portfolio management, client advisory and actuarial and quantitative professionals based in EMEA, North America and Asia.
