Morningstar Awards 2022: Best Funds and Fund Managers

This year's winners of the Portuguese edition of the Morningstar Awards have been announced. Yesterday 28th of April, the Morningstar Awards for Investing Excellence were held. During these awards Morningstar recognises those professionals, and funds that had a better performance in recent months. Morningstar uses a new methodology based on a combination of medium- and long-term risk-adjusted performance track records and Morningstar's forward-looking Morningstar Analyst Rating™ for funds.

The winners of the Awards have been:

Best Allocation Fund went to the Capital Group Global Allocation Fund (LUX), managed by Capital Group.

Best Bond Fund category, the big winner was the iShares Core € Corp Bond ETF, a passive product from the BlackRock (iShares) universe.

Best European Equity Fund was won by another passively managed product, the iShares MSCI Europe SRI ETF by BlackRock (iShares).

Best Global Equity Fund 2022 was once again a product actively managed by Capital Group: the Capital Group New World Fund (LUX).

Best Asset Manager - Overall category: Capital Group

BNP Paribas Asset Management won the award in the Best Asset Manager - Sustainable Investment category.
