Groupama AM is strengthening the organisation and leadership of its investment management teams with the appointment of Xavier Hoche as Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Directly attached to the CEO of Groupama AM, Xavier Hoche will be a member of the Executive Committee.

Groupama AM, remaining faithful to its values of excellence, is continuing to reinforce its teams with the recruitment of experienced talent.
Xavier Hoche will supervise the Active Management, ALM (“Asset Liability Management”, dedicated to insurance investors) and Research teams and will oversee the company’s ESG Strategy. He will sit on the Executive Committee and will report directly to Mirela Agache Durand, CEO.
Xavier Hoche will have an active role to play in the transformation of the company initiated under the strategic plan launched in October 2020. His mission will be to nurture the emergence and expression of new management talent in the teams and to promote innovation, development and the recognition of specialized excellence in asset management.

Xavier Hoche most notably made his mark in 2013, when he founded and chaired AltaRocca AM, an asset management company specializing in convertible bonds, hybrid bonds, private debt and high-yield strategies, which was backed by the Primonial group and was purchased by La Financière de l’Echiquier in 2018. From 2008 to 2013, he was responsible for convertible bonds management and created and developed the target-date funds at Oddo Asset Management. Before that, he worked for management company Schelcher Prince Gestion.
