Edmond de Rothschild appoints Hervé Ordioni CEO of International Private Banking and announces Executive Committee additions

In his new role, Hervé will oversee the Swiss, Monegasque, Dubai, Israeli and UK private banking activities as well as the activities of Wealth Solutions, Wealth Planning and EAM.

The Edmond de Rothschild Group announces the appointment of Hervé Ordioni as CEO of International Private Banking and member of the Group Executive Committee. In addition, Yves Stein, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Europe in Luxembourg and its branches, and Renzo Evangelista, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild France, responsible for Private Banking France, Corporate Finance and Insurance Brokerage, will join the Group Executive Committee as of 1 July, 2022.

In his new role, Hervé will oversee the Swiss, Monegasque, Dubai, Israeli and UK private banking activities as well as the activities of Wealth Solutions, Wealth Planning and EAM. His mandate will be to accelerate the commercial dynamics by continuing to develop an ever more innovative product and solution offering that is closer to the needs of our clients. Hervé, who will be based in Geneva, will also become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Monaco.

In view of these developments, Michel Longhini, head of Group Private Banking, has decided to leave the bank. Edmond de Rothschild would like to warmly thank Michel for his contribution and commitment and wish him all the best for the rest of his career.

Hervé Ordioni

Hervé Ordioni joined the group in 1996 and since 2013 he has been CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Edmond de Rothschild Monaco. During his 10 years as head of Edmond de Rothschild Monaco, he successfully led his teams to turn our Group into a reference institution in Monaco.

Since 2015, he has been Chairman of the Committee for the promotion of Monaco as a financial center, within the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities (AMAF). He is a graduate of the University of Paris Dauphine and holds a master's degree in wealth management.

Yves Stein

CEO of Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) since 2019, Yves Stein has over 30 years of experience in private banking in Europe and Switzerland having actively contributed to the development of the private banking business throughout his career.

He holds a degree in Business & Financial Sciences from ICHEC. He has also completed the Modular Management Program at Hult International Business School and is an INSEAD IDP.

Renzo Evangelista

Head of Private Banking at Edmond de Rothschild (France) since 2017, Chairman of the Executive Board since 2019 and in charge of the M&A business led by Arnaud Petit and the Insurance brokerage business led by Thomas Clément.

Renzo Evangelista joined Edmond de Rothschild bank in various positions of responsibility since 2000. He and his teams have made the Private Banking, Insurance Brokerage and M&A businesses leading players in the domestic market. Previously he worked as a wealth manager at Banque de Gestion Privée Indosuez where he created and participated in the development of an offer dedicated to entrepreneurs. He holds a postgraduate degree in Business Law and Taxation from the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne and is the author of the book 'Family office: at the frontier of traditional and specialized wealth management advisory services'.
