DWS European equities funds changes management

Current fund manager Britta Weidenbach to hand over responsibility of two DWS European equity funds in September.

After 21 years at the firm, fund manager Britta Weidenbach will hand over responsibility of two funds currently under her management, DWS Invest Top Euroland and DWS Top Europe, as she exits the firm in September. During her time at DWS Investments, she oversaw €10bn in assets while leading a team of 17 portfolio managers.

Frank Kuemmet, who has been managing European equity funds and institutional mandates together with Britta Weidenbach for many years, will take over the DWS Invest Top Euroland fund, which currently has €370m in assets under management.

The DWS Top Europe fund will be taken over by Mark Schumann, who has been portfolio manager of European equities at DWS Investments in 2006. The fund currently has €990m in assets under management.
