
Danish pension fund Danica Pension has appointed Poul Kobberup as the new head of investments. Kobberup replaces Anders Svennesen that in turn joins the wealth management division at parent company Danske Bank group.
Kobberup heads a team of 16 members and joined Danica Pension as head of fixed income in 2015. Before he worked as Chief Investment Office at PFA Kapitalforvalting.
Danica Pension is very active in ESG investing and aims to allocate €13bn (DKK 100bn) into green transition and renewable energy initiatives by 2030. Last November Danica Pension decided to disinvest in tobacco companies.
Danica Pension is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Danske Bank Group. It offers a wide range of pension schemes, life insurance and health insurance products. It has around 800,000 customers and total pension assets of EUR 66.7 billion (DKK 500 billion).
