Following the acquisition of BMO’s EMEA AM business last year, the newly expanded organisation will now operate under a single brand: Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Overall, the firm manages USD 699 billion in assets and offers clients a broad range of equity, fixed income and alternative strategies, as well as specialised responsible investment (RI) capabilities and a full range of solutions.
As a result of the integration of the BMO brand, a number of changes will be made, including changes to databases and platforms and a change in the name of the funds managed by BMO. In particular, all UK-domiciled funds include the prefix “CT” instead of “BMO” and “Threadneedle” as was previously the case.
In addition, all BMO branded funds domiciled in Europe have also changed their names to include the prefix “CT”. Similarly, the SICAV funds of Threadneedle Luxembourg have not changed their names at this stage.
